It's Pride weekend in NYC and the Homos are out! There will be 1,000,000 people lining Fifth Avenue tomorrow and 500,000 people participating in the parade. It is the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall and the gays are out in full swing this weekend! The fact that you are reading my blog means that #1) you know I am a lesbian---or do now--- and #2) don't give a shit---or have managed to fool me into thinking that you don't, which is probably wise. As I began writing this blog, I started out ranting about the ignorance and naivete of people in 2009 in NYC...but then I stopped and decided that I would leave the negative energy and the negative stories behind, and embrace what this weekend is all about---which is LOVE. So get out your biggest rainbow colored fro wig and platform heals and wave your gay flag! Let's drink, dance, and sing Broadway show tunes while we celebrate love.
Shhhh...or They might find out we're more alike than we are different.
